I dont understand you guys.If its not the Cars then who the hel is Greg and Elliot??The Beatles??Obviously Greg and Eliot thought Todd could work and I think they were right. The only thing different is its not 79 any more.Oh yeah and Todd made the killer song”bang on the drum” which still makes me wanna break things, and not to mention slept with Chrissy Hynde andTodd DOES have a good voice.Replay it,your all a little bit confused!

    @Xcorgi I agree 100%

  • hammergirl35 says:

@madmikeastoria he sounds nothing like Ben

The Cars is not The Cars without Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr. I might still want to see them if it was Ric instead of Todd…without the lead singers a group is not the same to me.

    Rundgren is great!

  • BackInsight says:

Elliot would never diminish his playing for nothing. He still plays tasty leads.

Easton is one of the most under appreciated guitarist! He’s a monster with a hooky riff!

  • mightyboemker says:

Where the hell is David Robinson?

  • madmikeastoria says:

Todd sounds just like Ben and the new cars are “JUST WHAT I NEEDED” 78-79 riding my GS1000 in the streets of NY..The best days of my life!

  • kammhron says:

Rock on Elliot Easton! You the man!

  • urahkit says:

todd & ric are both great!!! i love them both!! so now we have two cars! whatta country!!!

  • Xcorgi says:

Todd Rundgren totally ruins the sound of The Cars! I know Ben Orr is gone but holy shit at least leave Rik Ocasik as the front man. He could still sing most of Ben’s stuff and his own and play guitar backup. It would then still be The Cars. Todd needs to find employment elsewhere!

  • edgroove7 says:

Not a bad tune but it is NOT The Cars!

  • chisaoboy says:

    Beautiful solo!

Sure seems like this was a segway into the new Cars idea to me. Maybe see if all could still do thier thing until maybe Ol Rick O could be availible. Nothing against Tod Rung. just sayin… The latest Cars spring 2011 is alot better than this even. Check them out, a few aleady on here ) suprisingly real good too )

@grgoldner Man I agree The Cars’ newest album isn’t that good, and quite honestly disappointing but this song is like, a parody of a real song, the chorus sounds like it has a dick in it’s metaphorical mouth

  • lovestospoodge says:

@grgoldner I agree the new cars isn’t that good, but it’s much better than this man, this song is almost a parody of a real song, the chorus literally has a dick in it’s mouth
