I have a replacement door lock for the driver’s side door, but as I began to put in the new a single, the within rod that is hooked to the lock fell off. Now I am not confident how to place it back on and proceed with replacing the lock. Can anybody advise actions to follow or a site wherever I can discover the data to finish the task for my daughter’s automobile?

The rod goes via a hole on the back of the tail piece of the lock. There is a small plastic clip that clips on the rod . You slide the clip back place the rod through the hole then slide the clip back on the rod.
Theres also a metal clip that holds the lock in place that just slides off with persuasion. When off you can swap the tail piece.
